Kit’s Cove began as an empty, unfinished storage space tucked under the roofline of a Kittery home. Our homeowners saw what it could become, and today it’s a bright, welcoming guest bath. The room takes its name from Kit, their cat, whose favorite spot in the house is now the windowsill above the tub.
We centered a soaking tub beneath that window and framed it in crisp white cabinetry, so every bath comes with a view of the trees. Across the room, a sage green vanity offers generous drawer storage for guests who like to settle in. In the shower, glossy tile with a soft arched pattern climbs the walls and follows the slope of the ceiling. A recessed niche lined in a complementary tile, a handheld shower, and grab bars make the space easy for any guest to use. Pottery made by one of our homeowners finishes the room with a personal touch.
