Rustic Retreat

This primary bathroom renovation was inspired by the homeowners beautiful log cabin home and incorporates finishes that lend an upscale feel to this project. Selecting colors and materials that worked well with the original wood paneled walls was key to making this a warm and inviting space. By reconfiguring the layout, which included the removal of a garden tub, the homeowners were able to design their dream walk-in shower. The combination of light and dark tile in the shower give a luxurious and spa-inspired ambiance while the glass enclosure visually expands the space. Details like the leathered granite wall to wall bench in the shower and niche offer plenty of storage solutions and add a luxurious touch. The main vanity, with its quartz counters and soft green cabinetry, is a perfect compliment to the warm tones throughout, and a secondary vanity on the opposite side of the room offers maximum counter space. To complete the rustic design, salvaged mirrors the homeowner found add the perfect country charm. This bathroom embraces the natural wood elements in this home and is now a beautiful retreat for the homeowners.
